SPRING VALLEY, WI – Milestones come in many forms: wins and losses, games played, championships.
For Spring Valley senior Mara Ducklow, it came in the form of one three-point shot.
With 6:40 left in the first half of last Tuesday’s game and the Cardinals well in the lead of their game against Cumberland (26-7), Ducklow took a pass from fellow senior Charli Vanasse in the corner, stepped back and drained a three-point shot that rolled around the rim and finally fell through.
