Rob shared his reasons for joining the WWH Board, stating, “I have been very fortunate and blessed to have worked with a variety of health care organizations similar to WWH. Throughout my career I developed a passion for rural healthcare and became aware of the unique challenges these organizations face in meeting the health care needs of their communities. I wanted to give back by serving an organization the fills this critical need. I was fortunate that WWH was looking for someone with my background to serve on the board, and our paths crossed, and it worked out. WWH is an excellent health system, and I am very excited about this opportunity and am looking forward to working with the rest of the board and leadership team to maneuver the challenges in rural health care, serve this community and ensure there is access to high quality care into the future.”

Western Wisconsin Health is committed to providing exceptional healthcare to our rural community. With Rob Schile on the Board of Directors, WWH will strengthen our ability to deliver innovative solutions and remarkable healthcare services to our patients. Board Chair, John Buelow stated that “Rob is a terrific addition to the board not only because of his experience as a partner of a large accounting firm but his specialty for 25 years was rural healthcare. We are delighted to have him join our team.”
