Plum City woman airlifted on Life Link III Helicopter to Regions Hospital

PLUM CITY, WI – On Wednesday December 20, 2023, at approximately 2:17 p.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) accident with injury at a private residence in Maiden Rock Township, in Pierce County.

It was determined that a 2012 Polaris Ranger being operated by Pauline Biederman, 65 years old from Plum City, Wisconsin and had been traveling on private property when she lost control of the vehicle and was ejected from it.

Ms. Biederman had three juvenile passengers on the vehicle, ages 10, 6, and 4, of which none of them were injured.

Ms. Biederman was transported from the scene by Life Link III Helicopter to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota with undetermined injuries.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Maiden Rock-Plum City EMS, Plum City Fire Department, Lund Fire Department, Ellsworth EMS and Life Link III Helicopter.
