SPRING VALLEY, WI – On Friday, February 2 at the historic Elmwood Auditorium, “Light it up for Larry’s Girls”, a benefit for the family of Larry Hofacker will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Hofacker, a huge supporter of his family and community was well known throughout Elmwood and the surrounding villages as a family man, fireworks enthusiast, electrician, and a huge supporter of his community.

Organizers of the benefit stated, “Larry Hofacker left behind a wife and two daughters following his courageous battle with cancer. He was a huge supporter of his family and community. From lighting up the sky to the power in people’s homes or businesses, Larry made an impact on many! Let’s help bring some light to Shelly, Tru, and Myah by supporting them at a benefit hosted by their family and friends.”

The benefit will have a full slot of activities: From 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Half Shebang will be providing a free concert; they are a local cover band from Western Wisconsin and will be playing country, western and alternative rock. There will be a food and cash bar; from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m., enjoy Sailer’s pulled pork or hotdogs, chips and various baked goods for a free will donation. Participate in the silent auction, raffle baskets, or 50/50 raffles; Raffle basket tickets can be purchased at 1 ticket for $5, or 6 tickets for $20. The 50/50 raffles will be drawn at 8 p.m., 9 p.m., and 10 p.m.

As a family friendly event, there will also be activities to keep the kids busy, and a limited number of memorial t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
