VILLAGE OF ELMWOOD, WI – On a sunny, Sunday afternoon, the parking lot of Welcome Home Assisted Living was packed for a very special occasion – the 100th birthday celebration of Betty Larson.
Betty, who was dressed impeccably in light blue, waited at the door to greet her many guests as they entered. After greeting the guest of honor, there was lots of laughter and reminiscing over delicious chocolate cupcakes, hot coffee, and prosecco.
In May of 2023, when Betty was just 99, we sat down for an interview that was full of laughs and the witty personality she is so well known for.
