MANKATO, MN – The Baldwin-Woodville Hawks 12U fall softball team took first place at their Fall State Softball Tournament in Mankato, Minnesota on September 24, 2023.

The Hawks won their first three games of the day beating St. Michael-Albertville 10-4, Minnetonka 22-9, and Waite Parke 17-2.

The team is coached by Coach Shonda Helgeson, Coach Josh Maurer, and Coach Alexis Maurer. Members of the Hawks are Hailey Gausman, Gracie Kusilek, Madison Meyers, Selena Pottratz, Faith Kampin, Avery Borowicz, Carmen Reyzer, Brynnlee Helgeson, Sophia Edin, Lauren Maurer, Lillyana Chevrier, Randi Magee, and Betty Tessier.

The Championship game was cancelled due to rain, but the Hawks came out on top due to tiebreaker rules.
