SPRING VALLEY, WI – When you reach the top of the mountain, you get the honors and the Spring Valley volleyball team did that by winning the conference title. Now they get to reap the rewards of their hard work with post season honors.
Leading the way for Valley were a pair of first team senior honorees – Mara Ducklow and Charli Vanasse.
Ducklow led the Cardinals and was given the honor as the Conference Player of the Year for her efforts. The senior led the conference in attacks and kills for the season. She had 258 kills in 713 attacks with 95 errors, which led the team as well. Ducklow was also second in the conference in digs, with 371 defensive plays, and was third in the conference in service aces.
