Football team falls to Boyceville, earns Level 1 home game with Hurley

SPRING VALLEY, WI – This game lived up to the hype coming into it all season long, and while the Cardinals came out on the short end of the scoreboard, everything was left on the muddy, wet field here last Friday night.

The visiting Boyceville Bulldogs took advantage of a few bigger plays and earned the 26-6 win over the Cardinals and the right to call themselves the D-SC Conference Champions, something the Cardinals have held the past three years with Boyceville holding second place all three years.

When the game came to an end, the sportsmanship on the field was extraordinary to see as both teams congratulated each other on a good game and great seasons for each squad.
