CROSS PLAINS, WI – The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin (GCAW) is pleased to announce that sophomores Ashlee Frank (High Honors) and Ella Omann (Honors) of Baldwin-Woodville High School have been selected as 2023 Academic-All State honorees.
Students are submitted by GCAW coaches based on the following criteria: The student-athlete has a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. The student-athlete participated in at least 75% of their team’s varsity matches during the previous season. The student-athlete is a sophomore, junior, or senior.
Ashlee Frank and Ella Omann are student-athletes who have set great examples for others, proving that athletic and academic successes are not mutually exclusive.
Underclassmen – we hope that you will continue pursuing golf, while at the same time maintaining the high academic standards that you have set for yourselves in the classroom. We cannot wait to see what new heights you are able to reach over the remaining years of your high school career.
The GCAW is proud to announce that 434 students from 106 different high schools have been honored this year. In fact, the average GPA of these students is an exceptional 3.824.
The GCAW was formed by high school golf coaches in 1986 to help build and enhance Wisconsin’s reputation for developing quality junior players by promoting golf in our schools and communities.
