WOODVILLE, WI – Woodville, Wisconsin is famous for its Norwegian heritage, and the Ramberg families joined in celebrating their Norwegian roots on November 25, 2023, at an event they called “Lefse and Levity.”

The family met to make (and eat!) all sorts of Norwegian treats, while having a great time socializing. Elaine (Ramberg) Jacobson and her two daughters and their spouses, Stanley and May Ramberg and their daughter, and Paul and Barb Ramberg and their three children, spouses, seven grandchildren and great grandson made attendance twenty-four in all, spanning four generations.

Some family members were renewing skills learned before, while others were learning techniques for the first time with older generations coaching. There were three lefse grills going, and the grandchildren took over the rolling and flipping. Others worked on making krumkake, while the youngest helped with filling sandbakkel tins. On the stove and in a crock pot there was delicious creamy Norwegian rømmegrøt cooking, and an almond cake was also served.

Park View graciously let us use their lower-level social room, and a great time was held by all.  Our only problem was blowing some fuses with all our power cords!
