BALDWIN-WOODVILLE, WI – Noah Sarauer and Cal Smith of Baldwin-Woodville High School were recognized at the WFCA All-State Football Banquet on February 4 at Lambeau Field.
When Baldwin-Woodville Football Coach Dan Keefer was asked about these boys, this is what he had to say.
“Noah is the best Lineman I have coached in my career coaching high school football. As an O-lineman, he was a coach on the field. He could do it all. As a D-lineman, his size, strength, and motor made him nearly impossible to block. What separates Noah from others is his leadership, team first attitude, and humility. The way he works, cares for others and leads is special. His impact on our program has been immense!”
“Cal rewrote the Baldwin-Woodville passing record book this year. His combination of arm strength, decision making and punishing running style made him very difficult to defend. Cal is extremely coachable. He was our leader and he made everyone around him better. He demanded the best from his teammates, while instilling confidence and lifting everyone’s performance when we needed it most. He has been an amazing role model, and he embodies team first!”
Noah and Cal will be playing in the All-Star game at UW Oshkosh together in July.
Congratulations, Noah and Cal!
