SPRING VALLEY, WI – It was a bittersweet week for the Spring Valley volleyball team. The D-SC champions earned the right to host both playoff games this past week, unfortunately their season ended earlier than hoped for with a loss to Regis in the second round.
The loss may have dampened the season, but the team should be proud of all of their accomplishments this year, especially earning the D-SC title.
Valley started the week with a 3-0 win over Blair-Taylor. The sweep of the Wildcats by scores of 25-18, 25-18 and 25-14, was led by the senior attack of Mara Ducklow and Charli Vanasse. Vanasse led Valley with 14 kills and Ducklow had 11. The team had 38 kills in 94 attacks with 16 errors. Sophomore Addison Nelson assisted on 32 kills.
