VILLAGE OF ELMWOOD, WI – The Village of Elmwood held their February monthly board meeting on Monday, February 12 at 7 p.m. Due to other events in the community and necessary absences, the meeting originally began in non-compliance due to the absence of a quorum of board members. Following the introduction, Trustee Unser was available and a quorum was established.

During the public input period, Mark Nyall, a GFL representative introduced himself to the Village Board. Following the switchover from P.I.G. to GFL last year, the company is the new garbage service contracted for village residents.

Next, Linda Garfield with the Elmwood Enrichment Council discussed a project they are hoping to complete in the upstairs area of the Elmwood Auditorium. The Elmwood Enrichment Council has allocated $1000 towards adding an enclosed closet in the upstairs area of the Auditorium. The project would include the supplies for the closet which would create a space for things like the floor scrubbing machine, dust mops and other cleaning supplies. It would also include the replacement of the tub sink.
