WOODVILLE, WI – The Woodville Lions club held their January regular monthly meeting on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Lions Den. President Jeff Brewer called the meeting to Order and led the Lions in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
He then introduced Debby Walters, the guest presenter for the evening. Walters a member of the Botany Belles & Beaus Garden Club (GC) among other things in the community, was at the meeting speaking about tree planting in the Village of Woodville.
Last year along with the GC helped organize an Arbor Day Tree Planting event to plant eight new trees in the Village in an effort to stay ahead of the potential loss of ash trees in the parks.
