BALDWIN, WI – On a snowy Thursday in mid-February, St. Croix County Medical Examiner, Patty Schachtner made a special trip to Baldwin Machine and Fab, LLC for a pickup – six crosses for each of St. Croix Counties unclaimed, spanning over several years.
Each of the crosses, custom made for each decedent, will serve as a grave marker for the individual. The crosses and creation of them were donated by brothers Jacob and Levi Englebretson, owners of Baldwin Machine and Fab, LLC.
