CAMERON, WI – All good seasons must come to an end, and with the loss to Cameron last Saturday in the WIAA Regional Championship game shows, the winter sports season ended for Spring Valley.
The Cardinals earned their way to the championship game with a tight 53-46 win at home last Friday night against McDonell Central, but just couldn’t muster enough on Saturday to get past the Comets.
The squad finished the season with a 19-7 overall record, 11-3 in the Dunn-St. Croix conference. All-conference selections have not been announced yet, but Valley is sure to have a few players reach those honors.
