TOWN OF GILMAN, WI – On Tuesday February 27, 2024, at approximately 11:29 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries on State Highway 29 near 450th St, in Gilman Township.
It was determined that a 2010 Ford Fusion being operated by a Duinia Kurrelmeyer, 72 years old from Maiden Rock, Wisconsin had been traveling westbound on State Highway 29 near 1090th St when she struck a parked 2013 Ford F350 with an attached trailer that was partially in the roadway.
The F350 with the attached trailer was unoccupied at the time of the accident. Ms. Kurrelmeyer was transported from the scene by the Spring Valley Area Ambulance to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was also assisted on scene by the Spring Valley Police Department, Spring Valley Fire Department, Ellsworth Fire Department and the Baldwin Medic.
