SPRING VALLEY, WI – Having the chance to run a meet on your own home course is always a plus for cross country teams. The Spring Valley squads got that opportunity here last week, running their home meet for the first time in a few years on their practice course right here on campus.
The results were mixed, as some runners continue to drop times as the season progresses. The teams are now heading into the home stretch of the season as they ran at Amery this past Tuesday (results were not available as of press time) and will compete at the D-SC conference meet in Durand next Thursday, October 12, 2023, before running at the WIAA Sectional on Saturday, October 21, in Cadott at Whispering Pines Golf Course.
The teams will keep working hard in the meantime to drop their times and get healthy for those meets.
