WOODVILLE, WI – Hey Woodville! This past weekend, Sunday, September 21, 2024, the girls and I (Princesses Jessica Albers, Addisyn Wichelman, and Adeline Haugen) all went to Spring Valley for their 56th Annual Dam Days Celebration that was honoring their Village’s most famous landmark, Crystal Cave.
We took the Troll float and got many compliments on the waterfall and all the cute trolls and their names as we went through the Dam Days Grande Parade. The Spring Valley Lions Club was kind enough to put on a Queen’s Tea for all the attending Sparkle Sisters, despite not having a Court this year.
Throughout the parade, we all saw lots of friends and family, and got to watch the amazing University of Wisconsin – River Falls Marching Falcons Band that has been reformed after 30 years. They even put on a concert after the parade.
Next weekend, we will all head to Warrens for their 51st Annual Cranberry Festival, which will be our last parade until the Anoka Halloween Parade!
