SPRING VALLEY, WI – The community of Spring Valley has a full calendar of activities planned for all ages this December 2023. With many organizations hosting new events, and all your favorites, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy this holiday season.
Beginning on Saturday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 3 at 2 p.m., the Community and Youth Choirs return to the Stagehands Theatre for two special performances of their concert, O Holy Night. Community Choir Director Cindy Kongshaug notes she is excited to be in her 27th year of directing the choir. Forty-two singers in the Community Choir will be performing many familiar holiday songs, including O Holy Night. Their part of the concert also includes some “just for fun” holiday antics and renditions. The Youth Choir, under the skillful direction of Ann Turner, is sure to melt your heart with its holiday cheer. The Youth Choir is open to Spring Valley students in grades 3-5. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students and are available now at svstagehands.org Tickets can also be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
On December 8, the Spring Valley Stagehands are featuring a short Christmas play entitled “Christmas Every Day.” The play will begin running December 8-10, and 15-17 with shows on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. The Stagehands Theatre is located at S234 McKay Ave. Tickets are $12 or $10 for seniors and students and can be purchased online at svstagehands.org or at the door prior to each performance.
