WOODVILLE, WI – Bidding for the Woodville Historical Society’s Silent Auction fundraiser baskets ended on Friday, December 8, 2023, and the lucky winners picked up their goodies that Friday evening and Saturday morning. The Historical Society had the popular Norwegian treat, Lefsa for the holidays was also available for purchase as part of the fundraising for the Society. Thank you to all who participated!
The eighteen-fundraiser Silent Auction baskets were compiled by Woodville Historical Society’s Sue Lohmeier and featured a wide range of items suitable for youngsters, families, and adults. This year bidding was online, so people received automatic notifications if they were outbid.
The money raised from the Silent Auction supports the Woodville Historical Society in its mission to locate, collect, preserve, and exhibit materials and information that tells the history of Woodville, Wisconsin. Funds also help with the bills associated with maintaining the Woodville Historical Society’s building (next to the Woodville Library on Main Street). Donations to support this mission are always welcome and can be sent to Woodville Historical Society, P.O. Box 162, Woodville, WI 54028 or donate online through a link on the Woodville Historical Society Facebook page.
New members to the Woodville Historical Society organization are always welcome and yearly fees are very reasonable: $10 for individuals and $15 for families.
Your support is much appreciated, “Thank you!”
