Arlene Ann Randall, age 85, formerly of Baldwin and Woodville, passed away February 15, 2025, at Cambridge Senior Living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Arlene, also called Tootsie or Toots to her closest family and friends, was born on September 14, 1939, in Baldwin, WI, the daughter of Aloysius (Al) and Celia (Olson) Miller. She was united in marriage on October 20, 1956, to Vincent John Randall. Their marriage was blessed with four children: Annette, Brian, Scott, and Valerie.

Arlene worked at various jobs outside the home during the first 12 years of married life, but her true calling was being a mother and a homemaker, graciously providing a loving and nurturing home for her family.

Arlene’s faith journey was important to her, as she read inspiring books about understanding faith. It was a topic she enjoyed sharing with others. She was a regular baker and server in her Women’s Circle at Zion Lutheran Church throughout the years.

Arlene enjoyed visiting and playing cards with friends and family. She loved reunions and attending all family gatherings, both large and small. Arlene was a great cook and baker and was accomplished not only at collecting thousands of recipes, but also at preparing each of them exquisitely. Her delicious meals and desserts were usually like a smorgasbord, ample enough to feed many more than the number of guests at her table. She also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, canning much of her produce, and liked to travel until difficulties with her neck restricted her to a wheelchair for the last 11½ years.

Arlene will remain in the hearts of her husband, Vincent; her children, Annette Randall of Baldwin, Brian (Susan) Randall of Baldwin, Scott Randall of Eau Claire, and Valerie (Timothy) Hemenway of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Natalie (Vince), Angie (Chad), Jeff, Jonathan, Lorelei (David), Jacqueline, Cody, Cassidy, Kei, and Alaric; 19 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; her brothers Ronald (Audrey) Miller of River Falls and Kenneth (Geri) Miller of Dresser; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Alan Miller.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, 221 Lockwood St, Woodville, WI 54028. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the church Fellowship Hall, where also a luncheon will follow the service. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Woodville at a later date.

We greatly appreciate Lily Home and Hospice for the high level of wonderful service they provided to our mother, Arlene, particularly by care givers, Tami and Nancy.

Arrangements entrusted to O’Connell Family Funeral Home, Baldwin.
