BALDWIN, WI – Five Baldwin-Woodville High School (B-W HS) students were selected and took part in the 2023 Wisconsin School Music Association High School State Honors Project: senior Connor Barnett (Orchestra – Trumpet), junior Ethan Nigbor (Mixed Choir – Tenor), Senior Zoey Kusilek (Treble Choir – Soprano 1), sophomore Frankie Willink (Treble Choir – Alto), and sophomore Emma Soderberg (Treble Choir – Soprano 1).
This year, more than 1,250 Wisconsin students auditioned for 426 positions in five ensembles. “We are extremely proud of all the students who auditioned, were accepted, and participated in camps, rehearsals, and performances. It takes time, commitment, and dedication to prepare for the audition and it is wonderful to see these students rewarded through this incredible experience,” said BWHS music directors Adam Bassak and Amanda Arnold.
