SPRING VALLEY, WI – The 2024 baseball season came to a close recently for the Spring Valley baseball team in the regional semifinals. The team beat Clear Lake with a late inning rally to advance to the semifinal game, but just couldn’t muster enough to beat Flambeau on the road.
Spring Valley 11, Clear Lake 10 – The Cardinals topped Clear Lake, but only after spotting the Warriors an early 6-0 lead after just two innings.
Clear Lake scored five runs in the first inning after a pair of singles, pair of walks and three errors, which was very uncharacteristic play according to Head Coach Brandon Walczak.
