EL PASO, WI – As the Rush River swelled and “rushed,” the Eau Galle Rush River Sportsmans Club (EGRRSC) held a 50th Anniversary Celebration Open House indoors at the El Paso Bar and Grill. The party was originally planned to be outside held on their beautiful 148.5 acre “Koch” land but, mother nature had other ideas and with rain forecast for much of Saturday, June 22, 2024, it was a good plan to move up the Rush River less than a mile to the upstairs party room at the El Paso Bar and Grill.
Invited EGRRSC members and family members gathered in the party room and registered for door prizes a plenty, received a keepsake pen and tape measure (to measure your catch no doubt). Many of the Club members were wearing their handsome 50th Anniversary commemorative T-shirts.
There were smiles all around as they got in the buffet line to have a delicious meal of pulled pork, beef brisket sandwiches, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, and Cole slaw with beverages. There was a beautifully decorated 50th Anniversary sheet cake and another tasty marble white cake (from Nilssen’s in Baldwin) that was served for dessert.
