WOODVILLE, WI – Zion Lutheran Church hosted a new record crowd for their biggest 16th Annual Norwegian Meatball Dinner on Thursday, November 9, 2023. The Fellowship Hall at Zion started filling up at 3:00 p.m. and they kept serving right up until 7:00 p.m. when the dinner time was concluding.
Zion member Cheryl Slind whose idea it was to do this now popular event 16 years ago reported, “We quadrupled our 2007 start of 200 people served with a new record of 800 people. We had some 200 plus take-out meals and over 550 seated for the buffet dinner in the Fellowship Hall. It was great!”
