SPRING VALLEY, WI – All good things must come to an end, unfortunately. The 2024 Spring Valley football season ended with a 21-6 loss to Boyceville here last Friday in WIAA Level 3 playoff football action.
The Cardinals, the Dunn-St. Croix Conference Champions, struggled offensively against the second place and second seeded Bulldogs in the loss. Valley managed to gain just 136 yards on the night to 306 for the Bulldogs. The Cardinals also ran just 39 offensive plays to 55 for Boyceville in the game.
Boyceville had a game plan and executed it Friday night and controlled the ball and the action against the Cardinals.
