SPRING VALLEY, WI – It was a lovely warm late spring almost summer day on Friday, June 14, 2024, when the Spring Valley Area Emergency Services and Spring Valley Community Education Foundation hosted their annual free Community Safety Day. The event took place on a block and a half of Sabin Avenue filling the closed street with all sorts of “Touch-a-Truck” wonders for children and their families to enjoy!
The following 20 organizations participated in the 2024 Community Safety Day this year either by having a booth, touch-a-truck, or both: Spring Valley Area Ambulance, Spring Valley Area Fire Department, Spring Valley Community Education Foundation, Spring Valley Police Department, Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Pierce County Emergency Management, Regions Hospital, Advantage Excavating, Baldwin EMS, Army Corp of Engineers, River Falls Area Hospital, Pierce County Public Health, Western Wisconsin Health, Syverson Pools, School District of Spring Valley, Day & Nite Towing, LLC. , Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services, Life Link III (helicopter), and the Village of Spring Valley Public Works.
