WOODBURY, MN – The weekend of May 18 and 19, 2024, the B-W Hawks went 5-0 taking first place in the Gold bracket at the Woodbury Wild Pitch tournament held in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Collectively, the team scored 46 runs and only gave up four runs in this exciting tournament.

At the home Millpond Madness tournament on June 1 and 2, 2024, the Hawks went 5-0 again taking first place in the Gold bracket. The team scored a total of 39 runs and only gave up two runs all weekend.

Pitcher, Jenna Volgren, had 43 strikeouts each tournament with a total of 152 strikeouts so far this season! The Hawks 12U Black team is off to a great start of the season with a 18-4-2 league and tournament record.

The Hawks 12U Black Softball team consists of Ellie Nowakowski, Kaylee Eggen, Jenna Volgren, Gracie Kusilek, Hailey Gausman, Faith Kampin, Eva Freese, Sophie Edin, Camryn Ferg, Ella Yunker, and Maddi Meyers. They are coached by Jake Freese, Jon Volgren, and Brian Ferg.
