SPRING VALLEY & WILSON, WI – Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2024, was remembered by the Rickerd-Danielson American Legion Post 227 in Spring Valley, and the Matson-Miller Post 330 in Wilson, Wisconsin.
The Spring Valley Memorial Day Service began at 9:30 a.m. at the War Memorial with Oping Remarks from Post 227 Commander Pete Esanbock. The Spring Valley High School Band played the Star-Spangled Banner, with the Boy Scout Troop leading the Pledge of Allegiance. The Post Sergeant-at-Arms Dan Tully lowered the American Flag to half mast as is customary.
Emma Esanbock gave the Invocation followed by a musical selection by the SV HS Band directed by Donna Schwartz.
