SPRING VALLEY, WI – The Spring Valley-Elmwood Cub Scouts, Pack 145 held their annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Spring Valley High School gym. The home-made cars raced in three heats – first by age followed by a championship heat for the winners. The Scouts enjoyed fun exciting races and awards, followed by a family dinner and movie.
- Ages 5-7: David DeGrusen (3rd place), Nick Bartlett (2nd place), Garrett Horner (1st place)
- Ages 8-9: Deklan Rydeen (3rd place), Kolben Stordahl (2nd place), Oliver Schultz (1st place)
- Ages 9-10: Guy Wines (3rd place), Davis Horner (2nd place), August Meyer (1st place)
- Championship: August Meyer (3rd place), Garrett Horner (2nd place), Oliver Schultz (1st place)
- Best Design (as voted by Scouts and spectators) – Davis Horner
