RURAL SPRING VALLEY, WI – On Thursday February 6, 2025, at approximately 11:06 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries on County Road CC near 730th Ave in Spring Lake Township (rural Spring Valley, Wisconsin).
It was determined a 2017 Honda Accord, being operated by Felicia Biagi, 34 years old of Durand, Wisconsin, was traveling southbound on County Road CC when she lost control and collided with a 2016 Chevy Silverado traveling northbound being operated by James Claflin, 56 years old of Hager City, Wisconsin. Mr. Claflin had a passenger in his vehicle who was identified as Diane Claflin, 55 years old, of Hager City, WI.
Ms. Biagi was transported by Baldwin EMS to Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin Wisconsin, and later to Regions Hospital by Life Link Helicopter, in Saint Paul, Minnesota with undetermined injuries. Mr. Claflin and Ms. Claflin were transported by Spring Valley Ambulance to Western Wisconsin Health with undetermined injuries.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Baldwin EMS, Spring Valley Ambulance, Spring Valley Fire Department, Elmwood Fire Department, Ellsworth Fire Department, Saint Croix County Sheriff’s Office, Elmwood Police Department, Pierce County Highway Department, Life Link Helicopter and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Update issued Saturday. February 8, 2025: Felicia Biagi, 34 years old of Durand, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at approximately 20:25 Hours (8:25 p.m.) as a result of the injuries she sustained in the accident.
