WOODVILLE, WI – The Woodville Lions Club invites Baldwin-Woodville freshmen, sophomores and juniors to be members of the 2024-2025 Syttende Mai Royalty Ambassador Court. This is your chance to be Royalty!

Woodville Syttende Mai Royalty Ambassador Program
We are searching for our future 2024-25 Royalty Ambassador Court
- Signup during Focus Hour on January 31, 2024.
- First Informational Meeting with Parent/Guardian on Sunday, February 4 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lion’s Den in Woodville.

The Woodville Syttende Mai Royalty Ambassador Program is for students enrolled in the Baldwin-Woodville School District as Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.
Purpose:
The Woodville Syttende Mai Royalty Program is designed to provide an opportunity to promote Woodville, support the way of life of a small community, Norwegian heritage and enrich you along your royal journey.

- Friendships – Sparkle Sisters and Brothers.
Woodville Lions Club provides the Norwegian Outfits and Scholarships
Woodville Syttende Mai Royalty Committee provides Crowns, Norwegian Jewelry, and Portraits.
Individual Court Expenses (minimal < $100):
- Two white blouses and black flat shoes for Norwegian Outfit.
- Polo shirt with capris or Bermuda shorts or skirt, and sandals.
Optional Court Expenses:
- Court jacket, pillow, and/or crown box.
Contestant Commitment:
- Contestants meet once per week starting in February until the Syttende Mai coronation in May.
- Sign a Contract (Code of Ethics/Conduct).
- Fundraiser Participation.
- Woodville Events Participation.
- Lions Club Dinner.
- Sell Syttende Mai Raffle Tickets.
- Attend the Royalty Banquet.
Court Commitment:
- Sign a Contract (Code of Ethics/Conduct).
- One summer of parades with (Three excused absences).
- Woodville Events Participation.
- Lions Club Dinner(s).
Parent Commitment:
- Driving for parades (rotated).
- Mileage reimbursement at the end of parade season for driving floats.
- Assistance with driving for a parade.
- Assistance with a vehicle for driving for a parade.
