DURAND, WI – Heading into the last week of the regular season the Spring Valley/Elmwood wrestling team is looking to prep for the WIAA tournament coming up shortly. SV/E finishes their regular season schedule tonight at Boyceville.
The Cardinals got a win last week over Durand on Thursday night, then competed on Friday at the Whitetail Shootout in Menomonie where they lost to Baldwin-Woodville, beat McDonell Central/Elk Mound, lost to Regis/Altoon and lost to River Falls.
The Cardinals are resting before wrestling in the WIAA D3 Regional at Auburndale on Saturday, February 10 with the hopes of advancing to the sectional meet the following Saturday in Edgar.
