SPRING VALLEY, WI – Despite having a better seeding, it was the same game from two weeks ago for the Spring Valley football team here last week.
The Cardinals lost to fifth seeded Glenwood City in the WIAA Level 1 playoff game here, 21-2. The loss drops the Cardinals to a finishing record of 5-5.
Valley came into the game having lost to Glenwood City just two weeks prior, also on the home field, by a 27-7 margin so while revenge was on the mind of the Cardinals, being able to complete that task was still elusive. The Cardinals had opportunities, but. just couldn’t seize upon them.
