VILLAGE OF ELMWOOD, WI – The Village of Elmwood held their monthly board meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Auditorium. Following the roll call and Pledge of Allegiance, the March Minutes were approved. There was no public input given.

The next item was discussion of the election results from the April 2 Spring Election. There were three seats open on the board. Incumbent Jason Severson was elected for another term, and newcomers Pam Marson and Dawn Toth were elected to the board and will be present for the next meeting. Luke Weix and Megan Poquette both declined to run for another term.

Scott Freier, Chief Operating Officer with Pierce Pepin Cooperative Services (PPCS), and Brooke Cupp, Community Outreach were on site to discuss SwiftCurrent Connect, the broadband subsidiary of PPCS that will be working to bring fiber into the Village in the next year.
